Not every win on the board requires a full-season strategy; sometimes, the game is decided by a single, perfectly executed play. Beyond the massive, multi-channel campaigns, I’ve "knocked it out of the park" on a variety of high-impact one-off projects, particularly for some more information-dense projects for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I led the social media direction and Google Ads strategy for Morehead Planetarium to help promote its long-awaited reopening after the COVID shutdown. The campaign focused on rebuilding excitement around one of Chapel Hill’s most beloved institutions while introducing audiences to a slate of new shows, educational programs, and public events.
Writing this piece for the UNC Center for Bioethics remains one of the most meaningful projects I’ve worked on. Through my interview with historian of medicine Dr. Elena Conis, the blog explored the deep historical roots of vaccine hesitancy in the United States and how those forces continue to shape public attitudes today. It was an opportunity to translate complex academic research into accessible storytelling about an issue that still directly affects our nation’s public health.

I wrote the script, directed the production, conducted the on-camera interviews, edited, and promoted the final video for the NC Translational and Clinical Sciences (NC TraCS) Institute at UNC–Chapel Hill. The video demonstrates the real world value of the institute supporting researchers through clinical trials, regulatory approval, and real-world patient implementation, in a clear and compelling story.
