I love writing for broadcast TV, OTT/CTV, streaming audio, and radio because the time constraints of scripts force you to get interesting fast. There’s also something powerful about shaping a story through sound and motion, where pacing, tone, and rhythm work together to create emotion.
One of my first video projects was for the NC Translational & Clinical Sciences Institute, where I did a little bit of everything—writing the script, interviewing researchers, directing the shoots, and even editing the audio. Since then, I’ve created an OTT explainer for The Jim Allen Group’s “Sold It in a Snap” program, wrote :15 and :30 spots for California Closets’ U.S. Open ad, and developed the brand introduction video for Kindled Provisions Firewood.
